Análise da política de assistência social no espaço do centro de referência de assistência social - CRAS: atuação dos (as) assistentes sociais.

Abstract

This Work Course Conclusion (TCC) presents an analysis of the social assistance policy, specifically regarding the role of the social worker in the Reference Center for Social Assistance (CRAS). Enlightened by the critical-historical dialectic method, we conducted a historical review on the construction of social assistance policy and its recognition as a public policy with the Federal Constitution of 1988. Upon this historical review shows that there was an undeniable advancement and expansion in care population user, on the other hand noted the prevalence of welfare character, fragmentary, selective and timely focalista this policy. And as one of the most important areas of social worker activity, the actions developed by the same, despite the achievements of the category, the denial of conservatism, with the approach to Marxism and the construction of the Ethical - Political Project - PEPSS, has followed the logic of capital requirements. On the limits of real, objective conditions and the neoconservative invasion, we found the performance of professional difficulties, with increasingly specific and selective interventions that do not transform the living conditions of users.
