Résumé:
The present dissertation has as its theme the analysis of the administrative management model
of the CCTA / UFCG in the light of sustainability: diagnosis and proposition of alternatives.
The research addresses the important role of universities with a view to environmental
sustainability. In the last decades the environmental theme has been treated in a broad way
and the debates have expanded to the different spheres of society. In this sense, education has
maintained an important role in measures and actions aimed at the conservation and
preservation of the environment against human development. In this scenario, universities
have a great responsibility to train professionals who are aware of their role in the search for
environmental sustainability. In this perspective, this research aims to analyze the
administrative management model of the Center for Agricultural Sciences and Technology
(CCTA) of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) in the light of environmental
sustainability. In order to respond to the defined objectives, the research method adopted in
this work can be defined as a case study, focusing on the techniques of documentary,
bibliographic and observation research. Regarding the results, the data collected and analyzed
allow us to conclude that the CCTA / UFCG does not use a formal tool, such as A3P and
PLS, as a subsidy of administrative management in relation to the planning of activities
related to environmental sustainability. There was a high degree of commitment of the
Campus servers to issues related to the environment and the use and rationalization of
consumer materials in the work environment. We presented tables with the suggestions that
can be adopted by the management to strengthen the good practices already adopted by the
employees, to adopt new measures and to contribute to the reduction of the use of
consumables, especially aiming at environmental sustainability in Campus.
