Resumo:
The function of Coordinator of Human Resources in Federal Institutions of Higher Education
IFES requires planning and synchronized action to the demands and legal and functional
requirements. To think such an assertion is necessary to think about professional qualification.
Initially it is meritorious to clarify the difference between professional qualification and
training. According to Decree 5.825 / 2006, the first is a processbased learning process of
formal education, through which the server acquires knowledge and skills, in view of
institutional planning and the development of the server in the career and the second is a
process permanent and deliberate learning process, which uses improvement and qualification
actions, with the purpose of contributing to the development of institutional competences,
through the development of individual competences. This study had as general objective to
identify how the CFP / UFCG servers perceive the qualification, with the focus on the
development of knowledge and experiences to perform their functions in the search for a
greater efficiency in the service provided within the Cajazeiras campus of the Federal
University of Campina Grande UFCG. The research was descriptive and bibliographical,
with a quantitative approach. The site for the research was the Administrative UnitsCFP /
UFCG, Campus of Cajazeiras, Paraíba. The sample consisted of 69 servers of administrative
positions. For data collection, a structured questionnaire was used, applied to the APR. The
data were grouped, tabulated and analyzed through descriptive statistics by numerical and
percentage frequency, with the aid of the Microsoft® Excel 2010 program. The results were
presented in the form of tables, figures and tables, and later discussed in the light of relevant
literature. In view of the reality that permeates the CFP / UFCG as a federal institution of
higher education, it is essential that plans for the development of competences, skills,
creativity and a sense of responsibility are drawn, the latter being based on the individual's
performance and awareness of duty as the institution's server. The analysis of the data found
that the perception of the servers in relation to the professional training courses was evaluated
negatively by the majority, since it deprives the servers in the development of learning and
competence, which would tend to continuous improvements in work processes. Regarding the
current legislation regarding the possibilities of continuing training, the guarantee of specific
resources for the training and training of federal public servants occurred only after Law
11,091/2005. The study identified gaps in the professional qualification of the employees of
the Campus of Cajazeiras and, based on the results demonstrated, the attention of the
institution on the solutions that can be taken and the ideal proposals to direct the use of
knowledge through the training courses offered, and that this action can generate beneficial
changes to the various sectors of the institution. The adoption of proposals for intervention
may provide the AdministrativeTechnicians in Education who occupy positions in the CFP/
UFCG, better conditions for acquisition and improvement of skills that add value to the
institution and social value, in the development of their work with better preparation.
