Inovações tecnológicas na mangicultura do polo de Petrolina/Juazeiro.

Abstract

This dissertation aims at investigating, through a survey data analysis, the succession and technological innovations insertion in the Mango Culture from Petrolina (PE) and Juazeiro (BA). In addition to that, the technological package usage comprehension and the characterization as well as the trajectories and innovative tendencies composed by both aggregated and individualized way producers (enterprises and settlers) are one of the purposes of this research. Moreover, this paper aims at expressing utterly the effects brought about by the new technologies on the productivity and profitability leveis from the region. The technological package observation used in the production of mango in the sub médium of São Francisco revealed techniques usage in ali productive steps. However, a lack in the usage of the post - harvest phitosanitary treatment was identified in three áreas: commercialization system, marketing and informatics. In the case of the producer joined trajectory, there's the proof of the accelerated and progressive innovations implantation; which demonstrated in a segmented way a better technological rates for the companies. Therefore, the innovation incorporation accentuated rhythm conveys how skillful the settlers are to advance, in short time, to similar leveis achieved by the enterprises. Thus, the analysis tendencies suggest a technological convergence between enterprises and settlers in a short time (2012). That way, no other treatment would be given for both fínancier and productive performance of the producer. Having analyzed both productive segments, it was verified a positive and straight relation between technology and results gained in the production and recipe. In a particular evaluation, it was observed a duality. That way, following the previous thought, the enterprises come to conquer the best fínancier and productive leveis since they own a better technological standard. On the other hand, the settlers revealed intensive technological absorption ability what would lead them to profítable and productive values next to those related to enterprises.
