Abstract

The processing of skins, that is, the processes that involving the tanning of skins has existed since the most remote times always satisfying the universal desires of man. Thinking in these terms, this project will show the feasibility of building a tannery industry, in condition to produce the most diverse articles that satisfy the needs of the internal and external market. The present project shows us a study done on a Tannery Chemical industry, which will produce Wet-Blue Leathers, Crust and finished products using local and local raw materials neighbors, whose final product will meet all needs from the market. Soon, Curtume Cavalcante S / A will produce leather in Wet-blue, semi-finished and finished, always using Bovine leather. All internal and external factors will influence, such as: location, water quality, energy, transport, materials (chemicals), and a treatment plant (biological treatment). Finally, playing with these factors we will have a effective harmony, from the receipt of the hides to their dispatch, and only then will we have the conditions for Tannery Implementation Cavalcante S.A.
