Abstract:
The “Secundarista Spring” was a phenomenon characterized by the occupation of Schools, Universities and Federal Institutes throughout the national territory from August to November 2016 in Brazil. The movement was led by adolescent from the public school system in view of the measures imposed by the new government, such as the High School Reform, and Constitutional Amendment nº 55, which created obstacles for public investments in sectors such as Education. The occupation movement marks a generational renewal within the student movement and, consequently, highlights new forms of organization. Female protagonism emerged as one of the latent elements of that period, providing the trigger for elements present in the social reality, calling into question the social relations established historically, which point to the definition of gender roles in spaces located within the structure of society, especially in the political field. In this dimension, the objective of the research becomes: how, from these new forms of sociability, does the construction of gender roles imply the experience of women in the context of the occupation movement? With the cut in the city Campina Grande - Paraíba, the investigated occupations are the Federal University of Campina Grande, the State School Dr. Elpídio de Almeida (Gigantão da Prata) and the Federal Institute of Paraíba campus Campina Grande. Therefore, the methodological path of the work used the technique of semi-structured interviews carried out individually and, later, combined with a collective moment with the realization of the focus group for the individuals involved in the research, serving as an instrument to access the experience of the phenomenon
experienced by these subjects. It becomes evident, as aspects during this period, the possible restructuring of the student movement in school spaces, with a close connection with the women's movement, mainly through organization strategies and the presence of related guidelines, providing the opening of multiple voices in “their places of speech”, contributing, according to the literature, to the formation of the fourth feminist wave in Brazil.
