Résumé:
With the progress of the studies, the business logistics gains space and importance
becoming a competitive area that contributes to creating value for the customer. This
paper consists on a research performed in a vegetable sector company in Alagoa Nova/ PB,
and its main goal is to evaluate the management logistical activities at the company
Hortaliças Sempre Verde. The research is descriptive and case study with qualitative data
processing. The results found indicate that the supply logistics activity cycle presents some
communication failures between sectors when requesting input orders for their area,
causing new shipments of orders of the monthly planning, the support logistics cycle
shows the lack of a large deposit that includes washing actions, packaging and handling
after harvest and the physical distribution logistics cycle portrays an efficiency in its
delivery activities, due to the organization and control in the construction of routes and
assembly of batches of orders on trucks. The main conclusion is that the company has
several interfaces, characterizing an integrated logistics, however, there is a need of
implementation of technologies and information systems that can assist and support the
company’s logistical processes.
