Résumé:
This research aims to analyze the changes that occurred in a shoe factory
located in Campina Grande-PB in the context of Covid-19 in relation to the perception of
employees and managers. In view of this objective, a descriptive research was carried out
using the case study method, the chosen case being the Fábrica de Calçados Gama. For that,
primary and secondary data were collected. The primary data were obtained through
interviews with the managers and a questionnaire applied to the employees of the factory. As
for secondary data, these were obtained through bibliographic review and aimed to
characterize the footwear sector in view of the implications of the pandemic context. As a
result, it was found that in the managers' perception that the context of the pandemic caused
significant changes in the sales, production and logistics areas. However, in the perception of
employees there were no drastic changes in the organizational processes, as, according to
them, they continued to carry out their activities and functions in the same ways as before the
pandemic, with the exception of the use of facial masks during working hours and frequent
hand hygiene.
