In view of citrus sensitivity to salinity and the need to obtain tolerant genetic materials for use as rootstocks, the objective was to evaluate the quality of 'TAHITI' lime fruit grafted on rootstocks irrigated with waters of different salinities. The experiment was conducted in the field of the Food Science and Technology Center - Neossolo Flúvico, Federal University of Campina Grande, in Pombal, PB. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design, with a factorial scheme, 10 x 2, with 3 replicates, being 10 genotypes of citrus, composed of 9 genotypes from two progenies; Being 5 genotypes referring to the crossing between Sunki mandarin (three of the Common selection (TSKC) and two of the selection of Florida (TSKFL) x [Citrus limonea L. Osbeck x Poncirus trifoliata (TR)], and 4 Genotypes for the cross between TSKFL x [Poncirus trifoliata Beneke (TRBK)]
added to the control [LRSTC] and two levels of irrigation water salinity (0.3 dS m -1 and 3 dS m -1) and the application of salinized water was started at 380 days after sowing (DAS) and ended one year later, when the first cycle was harvested and the post-harvest analysis was performed. The fruits evaluated were related to one kg per genotype of each treatment and were analyzed for physical and chemical characteristics: number of fruits, number of loci, juice volume (mL), weight of juice (g), pH, electrical conductivity DS m-1), soluble solids, titratable acidity and ascorbic acid (mg / 100 mL). The best physical and chemical characteristics of the fruits were obtained in the genotype TSKC x (LCR x TR) - 032 mainly in relation to the number of fruits (21,0) juice volume (466,50 mL), titratable acidity (6.07%), And ascorbic acid (41.03 mg / 100 mL). The genotype TSKFL x TRBK - 017 showed the lowest averages for juice volume (295.26 mL); Juice weight (304.18 g); PH (2.01); Electrical conductivity (3.78 dS m-1) and titratable acidity (5.64%). The different citrus rootstocks did not differ in the physical and chemical characteristics of the fruits presenting on average (17.64) fruits per kg; (10.78) number of locules per fruit (372.14 mL) juice volume per kg; (375.10 g) juice weight per kg; (2.36) pH; (4.31 dS m-1) electrical conductivity; (8.40%) soluble solids content; (5.89%) of titratable acidity and (38.08 mg / 100 mL) of ascorbic acid.
