The use of high salt water in the semi-arid regions arises with an alternative to the irrigated farm, since the waters considered of good quality are not available in quantities satisfactory for this activity. Organic matter in the soil improves physico-chemical characteristics as well as osmotic adjustment through the supply of organic solutes, providing better absorption of water and nutrients in saline environments, mitigating the effects of salinity on soil or plants. In this sense, the objective of this work was to evaluate the cashew rootstock phytomasses "Crioulo" irrigated with salinized water under doses of bovine manure. The work was carried out under greenhouse conditions at the Agro - Food Science and Technology Center of the Federal University of Campina Grande do Pombal - PB. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design, with treatments arranged in a 5 x 4 factorial scheme, corresponding to five levels of electrical conductivity of the irrigation water - CEa (0.3; 1.0; 1.7; 2.4 and 3.1 dS m-1) and four organic matter (OM) (2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5% on a soil volume basis) with three replicates and two plants per plot. CEa water irrigation of up to 1.21 dS m-1, in the production of "Crioulo" cashew rootstock promotes an acceptable 10% phytomass reduction. Increasing doses of organic aether did not attenuate the effects of salinity on the studied variables. There was no interaction among the factors irrigation water salinity and organic matter doses. The dose of 2.5% (20.67 g) is recommended for the production of "Crioulo" cashew tree rootstock.
