Resumen:
Palm is a crop that fits well in semi-arid regions and has enormous potential to be used as a vegetable. Although, it can be influenced by factors such as plant density, management and type of fertilization. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the growth and quality of 'Miúda' palm sprouts grown under different sources of organic fertilizer in vessel. The experiment was conducted in the Science Center and Agrifood Technology Federal University of Campina Grande, Campus de Pombal, in the period from January to February 2017. In the experiment, three types of organic fertilizer were used, from manures: cattle, goats and poultry at four concentrations (0, 5, 10, 15 and 20%) from each source. The experimental design fully, in a factorial scheme 3 x 5 (3 sources of organic fertilizer and 5 concentrations). The concentration of 5% organic matter was indicated for proper growth of palm shoots 'Miúda', both of manure at the source, or even as poultry goats. The use of higher concentrations of organic matter positively influenced SS / AT and vitamin C ratio values in 'Miúda' palm sprouts, regardless of fertilizer source. The effect of the increase of the organic matter concentration allowed a greater accumulation of the activity components of the photosynthetic system of the sprouts, since there was a greater accumulation of these in all sources of fertilizers studied.
