Radish is a little consumed vegetable in Brazil, mainly in the northeast
region, and may be a new source of income for family farmers. Therefore, the present study had as objective to evaluate the performance of the radish crop in a function of levels and sources of organic fertilizers in a Planossolo Háplico in the region of Pombal, PB. The experiment was conducted in plastic tunnel conditions, located in the Center for Science and Technology Agrifood, Federal University of
Campina Grande, Campus de Pombal, UFCG. The delineament experimental was in
randomized block design, with 4 replications, in a 4x3 factorial scheme, being 4 levels (0, 80, 200 and 400 g.vaso-1) and 3 organic fertilizer sources (Aves - AV, Bovino - BV and Ovino - OV). At 15 and 30 days after emergence (DAE) of the plântulas was determined the plants's height. Plant height (AP), stem diameter (DC), number of leaves (NF), dry mass of aerial part (MSPA), dry mass of root (MSR), ratio aerial part / Root (RPA / R) and leaf area (AF). The levels and sources of organic fertilization significantly influenced plants height, stem diameter, number of leaves, dry mass and leaf area per plant at 15 and 30 DAE, with higher values observed as the amounts of fertilizer applied increased. The source that provided the greatest growth and development of the radish culture was bovine and ovine manure, at dose 200 g.vaso-1.
