County. In data collection, questionnaires were applied to groups of different social actors in the urban area of the aforementioned municipality. After analyzing the data, it was found that among the thirty sustainability indicators evaluated, nineteen were classified as FAVORABLE and eleven as FAVORABLE, however, most FAVORABLE indicators refer to questions about knowledge of the importance of proper management of urban solid waste. and its dangers when this does not occur, with only two not related to opinion, but focused on effective actions. While the UNFAVORABLE indicators, even in smaller quantities, are directly related to the management of solid waste in the locality, such as: absence of reuse of materials, existence of dumps near the homes and contamination of the population due to this proximity.
