Resumo:
The monitoring of composting process establishes a repetitive stress to the operator's attention that, if not observed, could get an unwanted result, especially in the monitoring of the parameters. This is because a bad driving the process can generate a composite of terrible quality, as well as waste of time and material. Is thinking in minimizing these efforts and errors during the definition and monitoring of composting processes developed a program in Excel environment to assist environmental technicians, engineering students and professionals. The present research aims to develop a program for the composting process management aimed at minimizing errors, and the generation of quality compounds. The methodology consisted of four stages: bibliographic survey on the subject, elaboration of forms in Visual Basic Application (VBA), the programming techniques; and, finally, the development of spreadsheet cells and monitoring compost windrows, which allows rationalisation of the process of composting, allowing the presentation of results through reports and graphs, and facilitating the handling and analysis of input and output data. The program developed proved to be important in the innovation of technologies applied to solid wastes, in particular in the treatment of organic waste through composting techniques.
