Resumo:
In this work, we developed a software in Windows environment, version 6.5
FORTRAN to simulate the transient behavior of electric current in single-phase transformer
subjected to short-circuit and the application of purely resistive loads, inductive and
capacitive in the secondary transformer, besides the application a source of alternating
voltage and another constant in the input terminal of the transformer, so that the necessary
tests were done to our study in this work. We performed digital simulation in two single-
phase transformers, with a core of iron-silicon alloy and the other with the core of
amorphous alloy, subjecting them to different signs of tension in the primary and the
electrical charges of different nature in its secondary circuit, and thus make analysis of the
behavior of single phase transformers in transient state. The parameters of single-phase
transformer core of ferro-silicon, which served as the basis for digital simulation were
obtained experimentally in the Laboratory of Electrical Machines UFCG Block (CH), while the
parameters for the transformer amorphous alloy were obtained in the literature
