Resumen:
This project presents improvements to the electrical installations of the High
Voltage Laboratory of the Federal University of Campina Grande. It describes a new
electrical design for the building, in which circuits and distribution boards are sized to
meet the necessities of the rooms and laboratories, and it proposes to substitute the
existing lamps with compact, tubular LED lamps. It also proposes to replace the
existing electrical conduit, standardize and facilitate maintenance, and improve the
aesthetics of the installation in all areas involved. In addition, the project presents an
automated system for the application of surveillance cameras, people-access control,
and presence sensors. Theoretical considerations are made, and architectural
measurements data and existing electrical terminals are described. Finally, the electrical
project and the implementation of the system automation are presented, and the results
are analyzed.
