Resumo:
This paper deals with the construction, instrumentation, identification and
control of a conveyor belt. The chosen device to perform control of this equipment will
be the CLP Training Kit ZTK900, provided by HI Technology company. The conveyor
belt has as actuator elements a DC motor, on which is implemented a PID controller for
the speed control of the belt in both directions of rotation, electrical resistors used in the
heating module, which are also controlled by the CLP and fans, to be used in the
cooling module, such as sensing elements possess the encoder to be attached to the
motor shaft to measure position and speed, light screens to help identify the position of
the object and LM35 temperature sensors. Fixed onto the conveyor belt has two
modules, a rapid heating and other rapid cooling, these modules were also constructed
for this paper, they comprise part of some industrial processes, and thus will be in this
paper, objects of identification and control. To perform the identification of said
equipments, some tools of MATLAB software will be used, specifically the System
Identification and the PID Tuner. The communication between the CLP control device
and PC for this task of identification and control will be performed using the OPC
standard, since communication for CLP programming will be performed by SPDSW
software provided by the company HI Technology, CLP manufacturer. The CLP will be
used the ZAP900 training kit ZTK900, this kit also provided by the company HI
Technology has modules that enable the reading of the encoder, analog and digital
inputs, digital analog output and PWM output to be used in this paper.
