Abstract

This work will be evaluated the performance of distance protection using the mhos features self-polarized, polarized and quadrilateral. We present analysis results of different forms of bias that characterize the operation of various protective relays with emphasis on the distance protection applied to transmission lines. For that use a database to generate all possible cases of simultaneous and lack the ADDEP (Analysis Disorders and Protection Performance), which is an automated diagnostic software disorder and control system performance analysis and protection, which is being developed in a Research and Development Project (R & D) supported by the Hydroelectric Company of São Francisco (Chesf) and executed by the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG).
