Abstract:
When occur voltage changes, current or frequency that results in failure or bad
operation of the power grid, comes into question the term "power quality". The
worsening problems is caused by several factors affecting system performance in
stationary and transient regimes. In this work, we present the study comprising a
computer simulation of the inrush and ferroresonance phenomena, based on the
models of Jiles-Atherton. It is shown the behavior of the voltage curves, current,
hysteresis, this type of ferroresonance and results of the application of techniques for
mitigation of these effects.
