Resumen:
This work presents a tool for the automation of space-vector PWM technique in static
converters, directly applied to multi-dimensional vector spaces. The strategy permits an
automatic choice of a group of voltage space vectors destined to synthesize a given reference
voltage vector. Based in numeric criteria, the tool elects a group of appropriate
vectors. The tool can be applied in three-dimensional and four-dimensional systems. The
steps for the implementation of the simulation algorithm and the strategies adopted for
the reduction of the computational effort are mentioned as well.
The effectiveness of the tool is proved by its application in two systems. The first one
consists in a topology of a four-wire converter, represented by a three-dimensional space.
The second one is a topology of a nine-leg converter, represented by a four-dimensional
space. Both systems are described and the simulation results are presented and discussed.
