Resumo:
This work describes the development of a system using the .NET Compact Framework
whose aims to qualify vibration levels measured in rotating machinery through the policy
described in the NBR10082 from ABNT and detect evolving faults by means of frequency
analysis. The theory involving fault detection in rotating machinery, Fast Fourier Transform’s
algorithm and the .NET CF-based functionalities implemented are presented. Lastly
the results regarding the use of the system in experiments made through a test platform
will be provided, followed by an analysis about the system’s effectiveness and suggestions
for further improvements.
