Estratégias de controle para simulação em tempo real de um compensador estático (STATCOM) via RTDS.

Abstract

This work contemplates the study and development of STATCOM real-time digital simulations. The main purpose is the study of modeling and application of synchronous static compensators (STATCOM) for voltage regulation in power systems through Real- Time Digital Simulations. For that, it is utilized the RTDS, whose operation principles are reviewed, as used models to represent the system elements, with emphasis in thyristors and GTO (Gate Turn Off ), besides controls systems applied to STATCOM. Besides, it is performed a literature review on the matter.
