Ingnition Angle), CEA (Constant Extinction Angle) e o VDCOL (Voltage Dependent
Current Order Limit).
desses sistemas. |

The growing demand for electricity and the distance of large generating units of
consumer centers have offered challenges for power transmission area. Therefore, the
HVDC transmission has great importance in the last decades by becoming attractive when
its comes to the power transmission over long distances. This type of transmission
provides important challenges for research and performance studies and a very important
tool in support of studies for this technology is the reference model created by CIGRÉ,
which enabled the implementation of this system for the analysis of operating conditions
in the field time in real time from softwares such as ATP, PSCAD,
MATLAB/SIMULINK, among other. A study of the major components of a monopolar
HVDC system and its static characteristics, so that it was possible to observe their
behavior and control activities on the application of fault in AC buses of converters
bridges. Among the types of control discussed in the literature, can be highlighted
throughout the work, the CCC (Constant Current Control), CIA (Constant Ignition
Angle), CEA (Constant Extinction Angle) and VDCOL (Voltage Dependent Current
Order Limit). The ATPDraw software was used to model the Benchmark CIGRE HVDC
system and perform fault simulation for further analysis of the performance of the controls
of the rectifier and inverter bridges as well as the response time of these systems. |
