Resumo:
The objective of the present research is to problematize how the AfroBrazilian culture appears in the curriculum of history teaching, presenting the proposal of incorporating this theme between practices and legislation in the schools of the city of Santa HelenaPB. For this purpose, interviews were designed with the purpose of understanding the experiences within the Teaching of History lived in the chosen schools. In addition, the LDB document, PCNs and the Political Pedagogical Project of the schools by Father José De Anchieta and Prof. José Bento. This research starts from the viewpoint of Cultural History, since Cultural history perceives the teaching of History as a possibility for a wide and diverse perception of the human condition, considering the perspective of scholars such as POLLAK (1992) and DA SILVA (2000).
