Resumo:
The quest for cost reductions increases the demands on quantity each day and more on
the quality of what is consumed. In particular in the evaluation of electric energy, its quality
parameters besides being legal requirements are decisive points in energy saving, which in the
competitive market that is established can be a decisive parameter. Thus, a device for the
analysis of the quality of electrical energy is so important, being a crucial tool for the
professional responsible for correcting and/or designing a system immune to these
unfavorable conditions. The general objective of this work is to idealize and construct a
microprocessed low cost energy quality analyzer using easily accessible components. The
developed prototype allowed the acquisition of voltage, current, power, harmonics among
other parameters that are used to analyze the quality of electric energy. In general the errors
were low, justifying their application in didactic systems or in the initial investigation of small
loads.
