Résumé:
Televisions are devices that entertains entire families around the world. In
Brazil, this culture is not so different, but a new television system has been replacing the
old analog TV system. Digital TV promises to deliver considerable improvements for
the consumer such as better image quality, signal compression and absence of
interference. It is then necessary to verify how this system will behave in unfavorable
environments.
This document presents an assessment of the Digital TV transmission in fading
environments. In order to do so, equipment that emulate a TV channel in the Brazilian
standard were used, in which it was possible to put components of delay and speed
variations to verify the Doppler effect. The evaluation of the transmission is then made
from the constellation generated, as well as in the analysis of the MER obtained for
different values of the signal-to-noise ratio in the two proposed modulations.
