Resumo:
It is presented, in the current work, an analysis of the electrical energy quality
for a hospital. Firstly, an overview of the structure of the distribution system, is
presented, to better understand which part of this system provides electrical energy to
the hospital, a primary consumer. To gather the electrical physical quantities of the
hospital`s electrical power input, it was used a power quality meter. According to that, it
was made a study of the analyser provided parameters such as: total harmonic
distortion, power factor, voltage floating, voltage and current unbalance, crest factor,
etc. Also a study of the Procedure for Electrical Energy Distribution – PRODIST (from
Portuguese Procedimentos de Distribuição de Energia Elétrica) module 8th, prepared by
the National Electrical Energy Agency – ANEEL (from Portuguese Agência Nacional
de Energia Elétrica), which defines the procedures related to the Quality of Electrical
Energy – QEE. Finally an analysis of the data obtained by the analyser was carried out
according to the stablished indicators provided by ANEEL.
