Resumo:
We are living in an era in which different objects are connecting to the
internet, like refrigerators, television, toasters, automobiles and a lot of other
things. The Internet of Things is a network of physical objects that have enough
built-in technology to collect and send data through the internet. When we bring
this technology to the industrial scenario, it’s given the name of Industrial Internet
of Things, a network that promises to connect billions of devices through the
internet with the aim of facilitating the way industry works and bring benefits to
the population.
The first part of this final paper intends to show the state of art of the
Industrial Internet of Things, so that the reader can understand that this
technology is really important, mainly in the automation area. The second part of
this final paper will show an application developed by the author to show one of
several possibilities that the Industrial Internet of Things has to offer.
