Résumé:
Photovoltaic solar energy presents itself as a promising alternative for the
popularization of distributed generation in Brazil. At the same time, interest in reducing
losses and eliminating energy waste, in other words, concern for energy efficiency is
growing. In this context, a general study of the energy efficiency of distributed
photovoltaic generation systems connected to the distribution networks of Paraíba state
was carried out. The work began with the collection of information necessary for the
construction of the current panorama of the solar generation distributed in this state, made
available by the distributors Energisa Paraíba and Energisa Borborema. Then, the
organization and the processing of these data were done in order to elaborate the scenario
of interest of this study. Subsequently, in order to qualify these systems for their
efficiency, the performance parameters defined by the International Electrotechnical
Commission (IEC) were calculated.
