Abstract:
One of the most important steps in the process of protection system design is parameterization
of the relay, which consists on the insertion of data from selectivity study and protection
coordination. This undergraduate final project is part of this context and presents a study of
distance protection foundations and paremeterization step for some relay models avalible on
the Digital Laboratory Protection (LabPro) of the Electrical Engineering Department (DEE)
from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG).
