Resumo:
Due to the importance of electrical installations, the discipline is approached in
technical courses and graduations in bachelor in the area of electricity. Generally, the
knowledge in Electrical Installations is exposed in theoretical and practical classes.
However, practical activities in laboratories require time and physical space, which often
make it impossible for students to use it, either due to the great demand of users or the
timetables available to use it. To solve this problem, virtual labs play an important role as
a tool in the learning teaching process, creating and conducting simulated experiments.
In this work, a virtual environment was developed to assist the learning of electrical
installations. The environment allows the student to train their knowledge about electrical
installations, as well as improving the teaching and learning practice of the teacher and
the student. In addition, the virtual environment allows the student to have the flexibility
to perform practical tasks outside of academic space.
