Résumé:
With the purpose of teaching Biology, it was of interest to open the doors to a
possible reflection and discussion about practical activities, a very important component
present and discussed in Science and Biology teaching. This research aims to
know what students think or know about the practical activities developed
during the training process. The research was developed with students from the
Degree in Biology from CES, carried out using a form with fourteen
multiple choice questions and a subjective question from 15 to 30 October
2010. The form is divided into three stages, covering information and
questions about the characterization of the research subject, about the training process
of students in the course and the future performance of students as a teacher. The research was
developed with a sample of 104 students distributed in the 2nd, 4th, So, 6th, 7th and 8th
periods and the development of the forms took place according to the availability
meetings with students in classes where teachers provided spaces
for the development of the forms. It was of interest of the research to observe if
there have been changes or not in the students' conceptions. In view of the results
obtained, the practical activities need a re-evaluation and reflection on the part of the
components that are in the process of formation and also, of those that contribute to
let this process happen.
