Resumen:
Oaimed at this work characterize plant production and evaluate the quantity of flavonoids and condensed tannins of young individuals from Anadenanthera colubrina (Vell.) Brenan in different locations. The seeds came from adult matrices located in the municipalities of Serra Branca and Sumé in Cariri, Paraíba. The collected material was taken to the Laboratory of Ecology and Botany - LAEB/UFCG/CDSA, in the municipality of Sumé for sorting and identification of the batches for production. Vegetable production was carried out at the Nursery for the Production of Native Seedlings and Studies of Ecology and Dynamics of Caatinga - LAEB/UFCG/CDSA, in 50% shading conditions and the substrate composed of sand, goat manure and subsoil in the proportion of 1.5: 1.0: 0.5. The experiment was conducted in 200 bags of seedlings, and for each bag a seed was sown, making the total disposition of 100 seeds of A. colubrina from Sumé matrices and 100 seeds from Serra Branca matrices. The emergency parameters (%), emergency speed index (IVE), over a period of 30 days after sowing and height, diameter, fresh weight and dry weight were also analyzed. After 90 days of evaluation, the plant material was collected and taken to the Pharmaceuticals and Medicines Research Institute -IPeFarM, for phytochemical analysis. Considering the vegetable production of A. colubrina it was observed that the seeds from the municipality of Sumé had a better performance, registering an emergence of 70% and an IVE of 11.19 while those from the municipality of Serra Branca had an emergence of 58% and an IVE of 10.03. The parameters related to height, diameter, fresh and dry weight were indicative of good development. For seeds from Sumé and Serra Branca, it was also verified that there was no statistical difference between the averages of diameter, fresh and dry mass. In this sense, it is emphasized that only the height parameter presented statistical difference, with the Sumé individuals standing out with greater growth. The analytical method pre-validated by UV/Vis spectrophotometry demonstrated that the method is selective, linear, sensitive, precise and robust, being adequate for the intended purpose. Related to data from quantification of tannins and flavonoids from the respective studied matrices, it was observed that young individuals from A. colubrina, presented tannin concentrations between 28.05 ± 3.5 (mg/g) for Sumé and 26.55 ± 1.7 (mg/g) for Serra Branca, and the flavonoid concentrations were 24.17 ± 2.6 (mg/g) for Sumé and 23.64 ± 3.2 (mg/g) for Serra Branca. Thus, it registered itself in the quantification of tannins and flavonoids of young individuals from A. Colubrina that the concentrations were significant. In addition, it was observed that there was a difference between Sumé and Serra Branca only for the concentration of tannins. Therefore, the data collected are relevant to support the production chain scales related to natural products and the conservation of biodiversity in the context of the Brazilian Semiarid.
