Resumen:
In this work, a low-cost processing system for electrocardiogram signals was
developed from an active analog filter module. This system allows to attenuate
interferences that modify the electrical signal from the human heart, enabling health
professionals to perform a more accurate analysis, diagnosis and monitoring of the
patients’ condition. Therefore, the expressions defining the electric filters were
developed, along with the analysis of the behavior for each approximation model. The
filters were simulated in order to verify their frequency responses and considering their
respective schematics. It came into conclusion that, for the attenuation of the interference
of the electrical power, the low-pass filter that was developed did not have the expected
attenuation, consequently, it was necessary to develop the notch filter.
