Abstract:
This paper presents the prototype of a remote monitoring system of electrical
quantities based on the ATMEGA328 microcontroller in conjunction with the ESP8266,
used as a Wi-Fi module. The developed system, which is low cost, is capable of
performing the sensing, acquisition of electrical quantities and transmission of data via
wireless network. During the transmission stage, the data is sent to a server, developed
using Visual Studio Community® platform, which allows the visualization of electrical
quantities, their recording and some system configurations. The validation of the
developed prototype was made from comparative tests using a commercial multimeter
and a multimeter. The work contributes to the studies related to the improvement of the
systems for monitoring and recording electricity consumption, based on the context of
industry 4.0.
