Resumo:
This article presents the main steps into developing Proj-Elétrica, a game-like virtual
environment made to support the teaching and learning process of electrical installation
projects in buildings. The game was developed using Construct 2©, which amongst other
advantages, it’s free and easely understandable. By playing Proj-Elétrica, the users can
test their knowledge about electrical instalations while completing elements of the
electrical plant on the house’s rooms. The rooms variation allows the exploration of
different patterns of electrical ducts, which expands the player’s comprehension about the
subject. The game facilitates the study of electrical installations and can be used to
improve the teaching and learning both for teachers and students. Beyond that, the Proj-
Elétcica can also be useful to engineers ant technicians that don’t want to learn, but
instead revisit the concepts inherent to electrical installations in buildings.
