Abstract

This paper has as purpose to analyze the impact on the operation of the Electric Power System (EPS), caused by the insertion of new eolic parks contracted to enter functioning, these parks together will inject 200 megawatts (MW) of eolic energy into the existing electrical grid. To perform the analysis, the grid will be modeled for the power flow analysis. For this, power flow simulations will be used in the Power World software. For the study, the eolic park is represented as a single buss. The total system to be simulated contains 38 buses. In addition, the present paper presents content about definitions for the comprehension of an eolic plant.
