Resumen:
Nowadays, human life is surrounded by a big and wide presence of devices such
as smartphones, computers, tablets and televisions. Besides, because of the need for the
development of new techniques as well as more enhanced devices, the study of
semiconductors, in particular, the organic ones, come as a great appeal for big companies
as well as for research group labs from all over the globe. As the amount of needed
information processing increases, so does the need for more lightweight, portable, stable
and easily adaptable devices for human life applications. In the past ten years, the
applications for wearable devices, smart clothing and shoes, electronic skins, implantable
medical devices and so on, have been increasing on a large scale. That’s where the
Organic-field-effect transistors (OFETs) come as a promising sensor platform, since they
have high sensitivity, flexibility as well as low-cost processing and fabrication when
compared to the overall fabrication techniques widely used nowadays.
