Abstract:
The present work is based on the analysis of single-phase inverters with NPC topology.
The effects power regeneration on the NPC/H-Bridge configuration composed by
two cells fed by voltage sources with three dc-link voltage ratios (2:1, 3:1 and 4:1)
and also the application of a flying capacitor in the hybrid cascaded NPC/H-bridge
configuration with a 4:1 dc-link voltage ratio. The PWM technique used will be the
Level-Shifted PWM, which is based on levels generation by the inverter. In order to
prove the operation of the systems, operating regions, harmonic distortion rates and
behavior of the voltages and currents associated with the circuits will be analyzed
through simulations performed using MATLAB and PSIM softwares.
