Résumé:
With a growing demand for more efficient and highly optimized telecommunications systems,
researches about the development and study of circuits that present these specifications
have increasingly potential. In the context of high frequencies, more specific
in microwave range, a technology has been standing out recently. SIW (Substrate Integrated
Wave Guide) technology has advantages such as low irradiation rates, reduced
manufacturing cost and high integration capability with other types of circuits. Among
the variations of this technology, the present work focuses in the RSIW (Ridge Substrate
Integrated Wave Guide) technology. Both technologies are applied in the development
of various microwave devices, including antennas and filters. In RSIW technology, metal
ridges are inserted into the structure and as a result, improvements in the filter bandwidth
are achieved. Tthe present work presents a study and optimization of a microwave
filter using RSIW technology, operating in the S band (2GHz - 4GHz). This filter will be
reproduced and analyzed with simulations in ANSYSR÷ Electronics Desktop software.
