Resumo:
This research will carry out a study about the use of educational technologies in two public
schools located in the city of São Domingos, a municipality located in the hinterland of the state
of Paraíba (PB). The research problem will be: How is the use of educational technologies in
the classroom by teachers from public schools in the city of São Domingos PB? The general
objective of the research will be: to understand how teachers from public schools in São
Domingos-PB are using educational technologies in the classroom, and will also have as
specific objectives: to analyze how pedagogical use is taking place by teachers of educational
technologies in both schools; to identify if there is adequacy in the institution that allows the
use of educational technologies in the classroom by teachers and to reflect on how teachers
practice in relation to educational technologies in both institutions. The theoretical basis will be
based on the studies of Bagno (2008), Cox (2008), Oliveira (2012), Tajra (2012) and Pretto
(2013). And as a methodological basis, the research will be of a qualitative and exploratory
approach (LÜDKE; ANDRÉ, 1986), the data collection instrument will be: the application of a
semi-structured questionnaire with two professors from each institution. The results from the
research pointed out that, despite the teachers' qualifications to provide freight to educational
technologies, there are still difficulties regarding the availability of equipment that enables an
efficient use of these technologies for the benefit of the teaching and learning process. In view
of the results presented, it is essential that the public schools of São Domingos, together with
the higher authorities, invest more in the use of educational technologies and in the training of
teachers to work with them. The results point to this gaping need in schools, a greater
availability of technological equipment will make both remote and face-to-face teaching more
interesting and consequently more efficient.
