Revisão de literatura: normas para construção de abatedouro para bovinos, caprinos, ovinos e suínos.

Abstract

The construction of a slaughterhouse originated from the moment that man learned to live in civilization and to gather animals in order to obtain his livelihood in the same area without the need to travel much for that. With the introduction of slaughterhouses, initially of cattle, man's access to meat consumption became easier, however many problems were evidenced in relation to the slaughterhouse itself, be it for sanitary, structural or humanitarian issues. For this, aiming at food security, over the years, the human being has been establishing norms and planning to build a safer slaughterhouse. For the municipality of Sumé, in the state of Paraíba, the construction of a slaughterhouse is of fundamental importance for the city in general, both for cattle and for pigs, goats and sheep and it is necessary to follow these regulations in order to have a food better and safer, free of disease and bacteria. In addition, the regulations provide for an adequate location and an appropriate use for the waste that is generated in these establishments, always aiming at the health of people and the well-being of the environment.
