The sandy beaches are dynamic ecossystems that dominate in many temperate and tropical
coastal areas. These ecossystems are intensively exploited for commercial, recreational, and
especially to the coastal zone protection against wave action. Among the various representatives
meiobenthonic that inhabit this ecossystem, Nematoda Phylum is the main group that dominate
most benthic habitats. Therefore, this study aimed to characterize the biodiversity of
nematofauna Beach Guadalupe — PE. For sampling were two collections, one in the dry and
rainy in another. The samples were collected with a PVC pipe of Sem long and 3.5 cm internal
diameter in the first 10 cm of sediment. In the laboratory, the sediment were separated
elutn'ation by manual. The supernatant was poured into & geological set of sieves of mesh
aperture of 0.044 and a diameter of 1.0 mm. The nematofauna was screened with the aid of
the plate Dolffus e stereomicroscope for counting and separation of specimens. The
diaphanization was made in order to clarify the internal structures in Nernatoda to occur then the
identification at the generic level, through pictorial keys. In rainy and dry periods were found 6
orders, 15 families and 35 genera, including Enoploides, Mesacanthion, Trileptium,
Enoplolaimus, Epacanthion, Mesacanthoides, Paramesacanthion, Anticoma, Oncholaimus,
Pareurystomina, Bathylaimus, Halalaimus, Rhabdocoma, Chromadorita, Chromadorelía,
Paracyatholaimus, Paracanthonchus, Cyatholaimus, Latronema, Microlaimus,
Calomicrolaimus, Daptonema, Rhynchonema, Pseudosteineira, Theristus, Cobbia,
Gonionchus, Metadesmolaimus, Trichotheristus, Scaptrella, Sabaiieira, Apodontium,
Ascolaimus, Metachromadora and Paracyatholaimoides. Among the genera recorded, it was
observed that the non-selective eaters deposits were found in the dry and predators and
omnivores in the rainy season. The presence of juveniles occurred in two periods, but with
greater dominance of the rainy season. This study enriches the knowledge of the biodiversity of
