Resumen:
The goal of this project is to find a good method to search new figures de FSS (frequency
selective surface) to be utilized in spatial filters. A very common method is the Genetic
Algorithms (GAs), which are strongly related to biology, the theory of evolutionism of
Darwin and natural selection. We studied this poeful tool to sole FSS’s poles,
running various simulations in CST, and because of this, we studied the macros, which are
commands that allows that CST to works automatically using a programming language. In
this project, we have chosen the Matlab software to interface with the CST. At the end of
the project, we found structures FSS capable to filter signals at frequencies of GSM (900
MHz and 1.8GHz).
