Resumo:
Based on experiences in the Portuguese Language course, in research on literacies and
academic literacy, it was possible to reflect on the difficulties of writing faced by the university
student. During higher education, the hard time dealing with varied academic textual genres,
such as annotations, reviews, abstracts, articles, and reports among others, led to the realization
of this work. After elementary and high school, even with many text genres already learned,
students who reach higher education need academic literacy And, for that reason, the idea of
looking for ways to contribute to minimize this problem. So, here is the following research
question: how to alleviate the difficulties in the production of the academic genre scientific
article? The general objective is: to investigate how to facilitate the production of the academic
genre scientific article for university students. This research is of a bibliographic nature, with
a qualitative approach, the result of reflections on the material read, namely linguistic manuals,
scientific articles and monographic works, which subsidized the development of the present
work. It is believed that this work may bring contributions to go further on the issue of
academic literacy and by proposing a workshop, it is aimed to somehow meet the difficulties
faced by the undergraduate students when producing scientific articles.
