Resumen:
In this work, the SADAguas software prototype was improved and functionalities were added. It is a Decision Support System for Water Reservoir Management, developed in 2017. This software was designed to model and assist the operation of a reservoir, and its main functionalities are the modeling of the reservoir's hydrological balance, the registration of users and calculation of the impact of their consumption on the water volume, the integration of a Geographic Information System (GIS) to visualize the spatial location of the reservoir and its users, and finally a resource allocation component to satisfy the demands of water users, especially during periods of scarcity, while seeking a rational and sustainable operation of the reservoir. Among the improvements made in this work, the highlight goes to the implementation of an allocation system, modified to behave in a similar way to the method used by the Piancó-Piranhas-Açu River Basin Committee (CBH - PPA) for reservoir management in the basin. Other changes also include adjustments and improvements in the graphical interface, greater ease of use, and also the correction of defects in the previous version using feedback received by students during its use in PGRH courses and final graduation work. A case study was also conducted using the new version of the software in the Saco reservoir belonging to the PPA basin, with data observed between 2013-2017 and compared with calculated results for validation of the software, in which a satisfactory margin of error was obtained.
