Resumen:
Continuing education is inherent to the function of teacher and has been consolidating over the
twentieth and twenty-first centuries, being of great importance in the process of building the
identity of the professional teacher and the strengthening of its practice facing the relationship
between theory and practice focused on the pedagogical work. However, this training is a major
challenge foreseen during the implementation of the BNCC-EM (Common National Curricular
Base for high school). To the extent that, in order to improve learning, stimulate and develop
skills and abilities in students, teacher training is the most accessible and efficient initiative. In
view of this reality, it is necessary that teachers are increasingly able to insert themselves in
teaching practices that make the student learn how to learn, to have democratic coexistence,
seeking to reflect on the process of teaching and learning, from the incorporation of useful
content for the formation of citizens, and not just in the sense of being a transmitter of basic
content. Thus, through the reflections previously made and considering the relevance of the
State in the promotion of actions for the continuing education of teachers, the study aims to
map the actions of continuing education for Chemistry teachers in the 18th Regional
Coordinator for the Development of Education/CE, in addition, it seeks to identify the
characteristics in the official documents in the 18th CREDE regarding the activities of
continuing education for chemistry teachers; The research presents a qualitative character, the
delimitation of the time of the research surrounds between (2018 to 2020), the context of the
research consists of the 18th CREDE located in the region of Cariri Ceará, based in the city of
Crato - CE. The eligibility of the data was subsidized by Bardin's content analysis (CA), later
inserted into a concept map using the camp tools® software. Some results indicate that there is
an attempt to approach and concern to take the BNCC-ME to the teacher who is in their
educational practice, in addition to the need to apply actions aimed at improving aspects such
as teaching and use of methodologies concerning the subject of chemistry.
