During much time th.e infantile education was seen only as a welfare institution where
the mothers left its children with the day-care center monitorial, where they received cares
personal as: hygiene, feeding and recreation. With passing of the time it was perceived that
beyond taking care of, it would have also to be educated. integrating them in a mutual action.
However, to materialize this interaction o f taking care of and to educate if it makes necessary
that the professional of infantile education is enabled and qualified to transpose obstacles,
therefore to integrate taking care of and educating they are not easy task, is something
complex, that it demands commitment and devotion. Ahead of so great challenge it is
essential a study on the effective ofthis thematic one. In this work we observe the process to
take care of and to educate in the Municipal Day-care center Dr. Diomedes Lucas de Carvalho
o f the City o f Cuité-PB, with intention to identify the maio difficulties felt for the educators in
the process to take care of and to educate, to know its practical and methodologies, beyond
understanding as the interaction of taking care of happens and to educate in the environment
of the day-care center. The developed research brings a qualitative boarding aiming at to get
significant infonnation that can assist the process of interaction of taking care of and educate
in the infantile education, being had as objective to verify if in fact the effective of taking care
of happens and to educate in the cited institution. For this, we use as research instrument a
questionnaire, carefully elaborated for attainment o f data and infonnation where the educators
had been able to discourse on its conceptions and its practical pedagogical related when
taking care of and to educate of children in the day-care center. Tbe data disclose that the
