Résumé:
To understand how the preschools should address the challenges of contemporary
education, we seek to identify the constructivist or phonics literacy adopted by
the kindergarten teachers of the Municipal Colonel Ezekiel- RN. The overall objective of this
research was to investigate the methods adopted by teachers of the
Municipal Colonel Ezekiel - RN when alphabetized children.18 teachers participated in the
study of various schools. The technique chosen for the methodology was the use of a semi-
structured questionnaire in the end which allowed the teachers surveyed expose their
opinion. We as a partia! result that some teachers adopt the phonics as an important learning
tool while other teachers are adept constructivism. Therefore, we observe that
the preschools of Colonel Ezekiel - RN are adept of the phonic method of teaching
literacy (traditional) and as part of constructivist teaching-learning process without
major dífficulties for students.
