Résumé:
The honey bee Apis mellifera (Hymenoptera: Apidae) is one of the main pollinating
agents of native and cultivated plants from all over the world. Despite the importance for
pollination, in recent years the decline of pollinators in agricultural areas has been observed, with the abuse of pesticides being one of the main causes pointed out for the mortality of these agents. In view of this, there is an increasing number of studies evaluating the toxicity of pesticides, especially insecticides, on A. mellifera, standing as research with chemical groups such as Neoconitinoids, Pyrethroids, Organophosphorates, Carbamates e Pirazoles. Only by knowing the impacts of insecticides on bees will it be possible to carry out sustainable management and the preservation of pollinators in agricultural areas. In view of the above and due to the global importance of the topic, the aim of the present study was to compile information on the toxicity of insecticides on A. mellifera. According to the survey of information in the literature, Neonicotinoids, Spinosads, Carbamates, Pyrethroids, Organophosphates, Pyrazoles are reported to be extremely toxic to bees. Relatively newer chemical groups such as Anthranilamides have caused low mortality on A. mellifera, however, there has been observed damage in the mobility of bees after exposure to the insecticides of that chemical group.
